STEAM AGER FOR TWO PHASE PRINTS
Field of use: Indanthrene dye fixation.
The absence of air in the steam and the installation of the pad mangle right under the steaming chamber makes our machine ideal for fixing these dyes, typically used for military prints, on cotton and viscose.
The dwell time of about 30 seconds at a temperature of 135 °C allows the production of approx 2.000 m/h of fabric with a machine of 18 m capacity.
STEAM AGER WITH PAD MANGLE TYPE FO2
The machine is completed by a chemical pad mangle with two horizontal rollers type FO2 particularly suitable for two phase liquor application.
One chrome plated roller works on the printed side of the fabric whereas a viscoelastic rubber roller operates on the reverse side of the fabric.
Special pneumatic pistons ensure a regular and uniform squeezing. A double liquor trough allows to apply the chemicals by nipping under the rubber roller.
Alternatively the liquor can be applied on the printed side using the chrome plated roller.
One cleaning doctor blade of special material is installed to keep the chrome plated roller clean.
REACTIVE DYES FIXATION FOR THE STEAMER
The fixation process requires about 20 seconds at 135 °C using silicate or carbonate in the pad mangle.
Chemicals are put on the printed side of the fabric by the chrome plated roller of the mangle, a production of about 3.500 m/h is obtained using a machine with a capacity of 18 m.
Our special external heating system and the continuous downward steam flow makes infrared heaters unnecessary for preheating fabric, ensuring a more economic and pratical process.
